Volunteering

• Do not go directly to wildfire response or evacuation sites. Unaffiliated volunteers can unintentionally disrupt emergency operations.
• For your safety, always volunteer through a recognized disaster‑relief organization. Plus, this is a way in which your time will be dedicated to where help is most needed.
• Many volunteer opportunities occur after immediate fire response has ended and during community recovery. Please be patient and wait until agencies can safely train and assign volunteers.
